Zezao, grafitti artist based in Sao Paulo, Brazil heads underground to create his artwork. He walks through the sewers of the city in search of just the right spot for his paintings – organic, art nouveau swirls. You can see a slide show of him at work here. Zezao is just one of a cadre of street artists in a Brazilian scene that has really blossomed in the last couple decades. So very apart of similar movements, Brazilian artists have struck out boldly on their own. Check out the work of”Os Gemeos” (The Twins), sibiling artists who have also documented the artwork of their friends on their website. — Anthony P. Munoz apmunoz.com
