MS105Here’s the cover artwork for my 105th posting on my music blog site.We begin this mix with another song from Bill Shuh’s, The Foundry Field Recordings. Geez, get this album already. It’s great. Page France debuts on the Swap with a tune from their new release “…and the Family Telephone”. Field Music, fresh off a short European tour with Tokyo Police Club, comes in 4th with something from their newly released 2nd LP. I couldn’t find a video for San Diego Serenade, by check out this great performance of sausage and eggs by Tom Waits. God bless the interet. Nebraska’s Tilly and the Wall bring us a song from their first release, Wild Like Children. You should check out the video link for this song as it affords you something you’ll miss on the audio track – tap dancing. This band has it’s own tap dancer bandmate. Track 16 is by family band Pablo from their album of the same title as the song. Former Galaxie 500 frontman Dean Wareham, joins Luna bandmate Britta Phillips to form their own self titled band. They enter mix 105 with the 5th track from their stellar 2nd full-length album Back Numbers. What would a music swap mix be without Andrew Bird? So I may be a bit heavy handed with this artist. I think you’ll like this song of his lastest release Armchair Apocrypha, his 7th studio release. We end this mix with an acapella version of How High, by Redman & Method Man. It’s ready to be mixed and mashed into your favorite— Anthony P. Munoz@
